At JLL, we strive to be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging technology to deliver superior service and outcomes for our clients. Our AI strategy is central to this commitment, combining enterprise applications, a software platform for developers, and a comprehensive training program to upskill our teams around the world.
The Vision
Our AI strategy is driven by a simple yet ambitious vision: to reinvent the work of commercial real estate for JLL and our clients. This journey began in 2019 when we created JLL Technologies and brought in a wave of new talent from the technology industry. A new chapter opened in August 2023 with the launch of JLL GPT—the first Generative AI specifically tailored for commercial real estate. This marked a significant leap in how we interact with data and make decisions, allowing us to accelerate analysis and provide faster insights to our clients.
The Strategy
Our AI strategy is centered on three key elements:
- Enterprise applications: In addition to JLL GPT, we have developed other enterprise applications such as our Outlook Assistant and have many more on the way to support our 110,000+ global employees.
- Employee training: We recognized that technology alone would not drive change—our people needed to understand and trust the tools they were using. Our training initiative is designed to make AI accessible to all, focusing on both AI fundamentals and advanced skills, ensuring our teams are equipped to leverage AI effectively in their work. This training has helped to foster a culture of innovation around AI rather than fear of job loss.
- JLL Falcon AI platform: JLL Falcon powers our recently launched JLL Azara and JLL Asset Beacon products and empowers our thriving internal developer community to build exciting new capabilities that will drive faster and more data-driven decisions, deliver instant insights and tailored solutions and ultimately transform outcomes for clients.
JLL Falcon features an open architecture that allows us to curate best-of-breed solutions and includes core capabilities such as:
- AI Model Router for easy access to leading models
- Advanced Security to protect client IP
- Retrieval Augmented Generation for extracting relevant information
- Natural Language Data Query capabilities for intuitive data interactions
